Alpha-lipoic a great diabetes manager

Alpha -lipoic is an antioxidant that helps cells efficiently convert glucose into energy

It is believed to lower blood sugar levels by metabolizing glucose and ushering it to the muscles where it is needed for energy.

Alpha-lipoic is used as a prescription in Europe as a prescription remedy for diabetic neuropathy and numbness, pain or tingling sensation in feet or legs that occurs when high blood sugar levels damage nerve endings.
